Daffodils 12-15-2008

Another "Modern Floral" (thanks to quickreaver for that series title...), basically, another grunged up flower. These daffodils were in my front yard back in the spring. I had to move some bulbs around -- I hope they come back up again next spring. I was pretty brutal when transplanting the things.

Anyway, I'm calling this one a photomanipulation because I used more of the photo in this piece. In addition to the lines, the leaves didn't look good as flat colors so I used the photo as the leaf base. And I of course grunged the whole thing up.

The colors on this were also a lot trickier to pull off. I think I'm happy with the color balance now.
